Knowledge Resource Group

The dearth of trained manpower in cutting edge research areas has been an issue all across country. Building on a critical mass to effectively perform research on need-specific problems remained an uphill task in almost all institutions engaged in higher education and research. Keeping this background in view, we have addressed this problem very carefully and developed a model to actively collaborate with highly qualified individuals from the academia as well as industry. We have adopted a focused approach which revolves around the following target-line:
  • Sharing the knowledge resource in capacity of visiting faculty for selected graduate courses where an instructor from relevant industry simply elevates the level of teaching manifolds by incorporation of real-time knowledge;
  • Sharing the knowledge resource in capacity of permanent visiting/adjunct faculty for research supervision on relevant ideas and problems proposed by them;
  • Sharing the knowledge resource in capacity of project partners for funded projects (this includes acquiring the critical mass for fund-hunting for real-time problems that needed attention both from academia and industry)
We have been successful in getting a reasonable number of highly trained and motivated individuals on board, who have committed to contribute in the group in at least one of the ways mentioned above.
